Sharing data with participants

From SpinozaWiki

Sometimes participants in a research study want to have (access to) their MRI scans. Contrary to scans made for diagnostic purposes at a radiology department, research volunteers do not automatically have the right to gain access to scans made for research purposes. In general, we advise against routinely sharing data with participants. However, it is up to you as the researcher to make this decision. If you do decide to share the data, please thoroughly check for incidental findings before sending (images taken from) scans to a participant.
