Splitting DTI

From a DTI series, you can save the b0 and averaged diffusion weighted images (b1000) as separate series:
- Select the series, from the right mouse button menu choose 'image algebra'
for b0
- copy all settings from the image DTI1:
- select subtraction B-A from the top bar
- select B-values A = 2, B = 1
- slices: Both A and B completely gray
- the preview window should show b0 image (top right window)
- the screen should look exactly as in the image below
- the preview image ought to have bright CSF and dark gray and white matter
- In the top bar, select 'generate series' (icon of a person with a little star)
- enter a name of your choice:

for b1000
- copy all settings from the image DTI3:
- B values: A = 2, b = 2
- slices: A and B completely gray bar
- make sure preview has image b1000 (or B999l) in the top right corner
- the preview of the b1000 image should look as follows:
- select generate series
- choose a sensible name and hit 'ok'. You should find the b1000 images as a separate series in the database.
