From a DTI series, you can save the b0 and averaged diffusion weighted images (b1000) as separate series:

  • Select the series, from the right mouse button menu choose 'image algebra'

for b0

  • copy all settings from the image DTI1:

  • select subtraction B-A from the top bar
  • select B-values A = 2, B = 1
  • slices: Both A and B completely gray
  • the preview window should show b0 image (top right window)
  • the screen should look exactly as in the image below
  • the preview image ought to have bright CSF and dark gray and white matter
  • In the top bar, select 'generate series' (icon of a person with a little star)
  • enter a name of your choice:

  • copy all settings from the image DTI3:

  • B values: A = 2, b = 2
  • slices: A and B completely gray bar
  • make sure preview has image b1000 (or B999l) in the top right corner
  • the preview of the b1000 image should look as follows:
