User manual paging system in Spinoza Centre
Spinoza Centre is using a paging system, with two options:
- Meet me: dial 81 followed by the pager number (see list below).
- The receiving device will beep 3 times in a row.
- You need to answer the page as quickly as possible, but at least within 2 minutes, by calling 82 followed by your own pager number. The display will show PIEP,
- Call me: dial 83 followed by the pager number (see list below).
- The receiving device of the person you want to page will beep 4 times, the display shows the phone number that has to be called.
- The paged person has to call this number (technically no time limit)
- A pager will start beeping approximately 15 seconds after a call.
ATTENTION
The call me function can only be used for internal conversations!
You can not redirect external conversations!
Broken pagers can be repared at the ISD-Servicedesk at D0-208 (AMC).
