We have a pulley system to hoist the BOLD screen when needed, e.g., for gaining access to the bore from the back. When access to the bore is needed, follow the steps below to safely gain access and restore the BOLD screen to its original position after you finish.
- With the BOLD screen in the bottom position, loosen the two screws; one on each side of the BOLD screen enclosure.

- Gently push the screen upwards by applying an upward force to one of the horizontal rods on the back of the screen. The screen has to be and remain straight, if the screen tilts it will get stuck.

Whatever you do, be sure to not step on the orange optical fiber on the ground that is used to connect the eyetracker.
- When the screen is in the upward position, fasten the two screws again to make sure the BOLD screen stays upward. You definitely don't want it to come down while you are working beneath it. When tightening the screws, please don't overdo it, "hand tight" will do. You don't want to damage the threads in the plastic.
