13 May 2024Thijs de Buck and Mitra Tavakkoli won 1st and 2nd prizes in the High Field Study Group poster competition at ISMRM in the ‘applications’ category. Congratulations to both!!
Thijs presented the abstract ‘7 Tesla MRI In Routine Surgical Planning For Deep Brain Stimulation For Parkinson’s Disease’ by Thijs de Buck, Wietske van der Zwaag, Yarit Wiggerts, Niels Rijks, Liza Afzali-Hashemi, Matthan W.A. Caan, Rob M.A. de Bie, Pepijn van den Munckhof, P. Richard Schuurman, and Maarten Bot.
Mitra pitched her work on ‘Advancing Free-Breathing Liver MRI At 7T With Pseudo-Spiral Cartesian Sampling And Phase-Shimming’, by Mitra Tavakkoli, Bobby A. Runderkamp, Matthijs H.S. de Buck, Michael D. Noseworthy, Aart J. Nederveen, Matthan W.A. Caan, and Wietske van der Zwaag. This project is the result of a collaboration between SC, the Amsterdam UMC and McMaster University in Canada and was supported by an ISMRM travel award.
